Shannon and John are MARRIED!

Finally, John & Shannon’s much anticipated wedding has come! It seems like forever ago since we did their engagement shoot in at Ancaster’s Old Mill and Hamilton’s Ottawa Street Shopping District (view photos)! And it couldn’t have been a better day. We had clear skies, sunshine, Sarnia’s beautiful waterfront and downtown core, and a fun bridal party:)
John and Shannon are a very creative and stylish couple. John works in architecture and design, while Shannon is an artist (Jimmy actually met Shannon in University – they were in the Visual Arts program together). John and Shannon’s attention to detail in planning the colours, decor, and fashion for their wedding came together perfectly to create a very clean, fresh and mod theme for their day.

When we arrived at Shannon’s parents’ home in the morning, Shannon was so excited for her wedding that she was already in her dress and completely ready to go for their afternoon ceremony! At the same time over at John’s parents’ home, after an early morning game of golf, John and the boys were also ready to go! It was so touching to witness their mutual excitement and anticipation for their wedding. We trust you’ll enjoy the following images of their day…  Congratulations John & Shannon!!!

BTW – Their wedding had many DIY elements to it. One example is Shannon’s veil; she made her birdcage veil herself and did a fantastic job!

I thought these two shots were great. The photo of the guys (below, left) are John and his Brother-in-laws and the photo on the right (below) is of John with four of his five sisters. Yes, John has a total of FIVE sisters! And they clearly have a blast together…
