Shawn and Ashlee’s Wedding

Ashlee and Shawn were married this past July 16th (Jimmy’s birthday!) in Shawn’s hometown, Fergus, Ontario.  Ashlee and the girls stayed at the Stonehurst B&B in Fergus with her family, while Shawn stayed at his parents’ house with the guys.  The Stonehurst B&B is filled with character, providing endless photo ops – a perfect addition to Ashlee and Shawn’s wedding day style which was fresh and modern meets old world charm, incorporating vintage accents throughout.  Simply put, it was gorgeous.

Between the town of Fergus itself and the reception located at Cox Creek Winery, the photo shoot of the wedding party was so much fun.  With everything from the bridge over Grand River and a quaint pub on the main street, to willow trees, orchards and an outdoor photo booth set-up with a vintage couch and old picture frames, their wedding had it all and did it well!

Ashlee and Shawn’s ceremony was held at St Joseph’s Parish.  Their wedding was the last one held in this Parish before it was taken down to rebuild a new one.  It was a very emotional moment as Ashlee and her father entered in through the Parish doors and Shawn saw Ashlee for the first time since the previous day… the expression on his face spoke of awe and pure joy!
