Fiona+Colin

Meet Colin and Fiona!  Having booked us in 2010, it seemed as though we waited forever until their wedding day!  They chose a beautiful location in the heart of the historic and charming city of Guelph. The ceremony and reception site, the exquisite Cutten Fields, was conveniently close to the University of Guelph‘s picturesque campus, where we stopped in for some photos before Colin & Fiona were to make their entrance into their intimate pre-ceremony dinner with their families & bridal party.  Their wedding had many DIY elements throughout and the evident closeness they shared with each member of the bridal party definitely made this wedding unique.  Outdoor ceremonies with open gazebos and archways are always great for getting close cropped candid key shots, so capturing the right moments was not a problem.  As for the bridal party shots, we loved Fiona’s Grandfather’s shiny black 1962 Buick Skylark!  We were happy to use it again near the end of the evening to get some Pretty In Pink inspired shots in front of it.  We had a blast celebrating with Fiona & Colin and it was such an honour to be a part of their wedding.  We hope you enjoy their wedding story…
