Michelle+Cleiford
Michelle and Cleiford’s wedding had been a long time coming and after all the planning and hard work Michelle had put into it, creating many elements of the decor herself, their day had finally arrived. Michelle and her mom had been praying for good weather despite the rainy forecast, and wouldn’t you know it, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky the whole time. Jimmy and I arrived separately at the locations Michelle and Cleiford were getting ready at, each surrounded by those closest to them and sharing in their nervous excitement as they prepared for the fast approaching ceremony. The beautiful Roman Catholic ceremony was held at Saint Boniface Catholic Church in Scarborough, and upon exciting the church after the ceremony, they drove-off together in their wedding car – the same 1962 Chevy Impala convertible featured in their engagement shoot! The ceremony was followed by a contemporary rustic photo shoot at Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto. The black, white and pink colour scheme was gorgeous at their reception venue, Paradise Banquet Hall, making for a high-end DIY wedding. Their entertainment was great, driven by the MC from Sound Sensation DJ services and featuring some awesome dancing from a professional Belly Dancer, Cleiford’s groomsmen, and the traditional money dance! Also adding to the fun night was the photo and video booth provided by Candid Moments. We offer a huge thank you to Michelle and Cleiford for allowing us to be a part of their wedding day:) We are very happy to have been able to document their wedding story for them.
