Engagement photography while exploring Old Montréal | Chantal + Alessandro = Engaged!

Engagement photography while exploring Old Montréal! What could be more romantic than exploring this charming city rich with history and culture? We love Old Montréal for it’s grand european flair, authentic stone buildings and cobblestone streets. The greater city as a whole contains so many unique details such as it’s characteristic wrought iron spiral staircases, charming ornate doors, and gorgeous parks. So, when the opportunity presented itself to meet up with Chantal, originally from Quebec, and Alessandro, from Italy, for their destination engagement portrait session in Montréal, Jimmy and I jumped at the chance! We checked into our favourite hostel (do you recall our trip in 2008?), Alexandrie-Montréal, and set out immediately to scout out our locations. We thrive on adventure and loved every moment of our time exploring the nooks and crannies of Vieux-Montréal while photographing Chantal and Alessandro together. They enjoyed exploring the old city off-the-beaten-path as we took them into alleys, behind buildings, and to some of Old Montréal’s more popular attractions before completing the session at Mount Royal. Of course we did not pass up some of Old Montréal’s more famous areas, such as Rue Notre-Dame East, Place Jacques-Cartier, Rue Saint-Amable, or Rue Saint-Paul and de la Commune. We wrapped up their session at Mount Royal, catching a breath-taking view of Montréal at sunset.
Chantal and Alessandro, we had an awesome time hanging out with you both for your engagement shoot! And to everyone else, stay tuned for their wedding photography post coming soon…

Very sweet and cute connection. Love the visit from some furry friends
