We are pleased to announce that Martin and Katrinna have tied the knot! The GreenAutumn team – Jimmy, myself, Tim and Eeleah – paired off and caught up with the couple in the midst of their preparation; Martin with his family and Katrinna with hers at their home. It was a blustery winter morning and the trees were beautiful all covered in snow. Katrinna was cheerful as ever, and her usual caring self, always ensuring that we and everyone else had what we needed. It was great to see her family, having come all the way from Calgary, pulling together to support her in the last few moments before her wedding. Meanwhile, Martin was perfectly at ease surrounded by those nearest and dearest to him, as he patiently waited for their intimate reveal at their home before the wedding. When the time came, the reveal was a very suspenseful moment complete with music and all! We were thrilled to have captured that moment in photo and film coverage for them to relive for a lifetime. Both Martin and Katrinna, along with their wedding party, were excellent sports for bearing the cold to get beautiful photographs for their day! The photos were taken at the Lake Shore campus of Humber College. Martin and Katrinna, we can’t thank you two enough for choosing us to be a part of your Wedding Day. Congratulations!

Meet Denielle and Kevin! We are proud to have been a part of their engagement portrait & film session – what a gorgeous setting! Danielle had suggested we do the shoot at her and Kevin’s property, a beautiful sprawling acreage outside of Hamilton. I was ecstatic when she gave me the details: 66 acres, an old barn with horses, a line of trees, and their young Doberman, Drake. We had a great time and to Danielle & Kevin’s pleasant surprise, they did too;). Stay tuned for their Love Story vid by GreenAutumn’s film makers, Tim and Eeleah!

Jamie and Mason had a beautiful wedding this past Saturday! It was an pleasure to celebrate with you two! Congrats

When we met Pamela and Maurice in the new year, we were crossing our fingers that they would choose us as their wedding photographers. Thankfully they did and now here we are, presenting to you their engagement portraits! Our anticipation quickly grew as Jimmy and I prepared for Pam and Mo’s engagement session, making every effort to choose locations they would feel at ease in and gravitate towards. Through conversation we had discovered they enjoy the being outdoors together, taking in nature while on a walk, and appreciate historic architecture that’s rich with character. We had never explored the Dundas Valley trails before and from what we could find online, it was a great fit for Pam and Mo! They had been along Sulpher Springs Road in the past and loved the rustic setting. I was thrilled (and a little terrified) to be using the Hermitage Ruins for some of their photos (if you’re wondering why I was afraid, just google the Hermitage Ruins to see what comes up… I’ll be honest, I can get creeped pretty easily!). We had so much fun with these two as we explored part of the Main Loop Trail, taking in the scenic on-the-verge-of-spring landscape, with it’s budding trees and furry little woodland creatures scurrying around us. At times it seemed very Tim Burton – like Sleepy Hollow meets Big Fish! The chilly air was perfect scarves, boots, coats and hats weather, which Pam does very well accessorizing! We want to thank you both again for spending the afternoon with us out in the cold! Can’t wait to see you both on your wedding day, Pam and Mo!

Get ready to meet Mike and Kerry! This is their sweet and charming engagement portrait session taken within the quaint and historic town of Dundas. We had a lot of fun getting shots of these two enjoying a few of the things they love. We began the session at The Winchester Arms – the perfect setting for St. Patrick’s Day! We love the classically Irish charm this pub has, giving off a cozy and comforting feel. Next, we wandered down the alluring main drag of Dundas, allowing Mike and Kerry to explore while stopping a number of times to use the town’s attractive storefronts as settings (namely Collin’s Brewhouse Restaurant, Detour Coffee, and some awesome quirky white and yellow doors). Both Mike and Kerry love to read and were both in their element at Dundas’ Barely Bent Used Books store! Concluding the session at the Dundas Driving Park, we were able to document some great moments between Mike and Kerry as they took in the surrounding nature while walking the trails… it was a great time.

Thanks again, Mike and Kerry, for hanging out with us for the day! We look forward to your wedding this fall!

Kristin and Justin celebrated their wedding day on 11·11·11! It was cold… but we survived:) Again, their love and affection for each other was VERY evident like it was in their engagement photos
We had the pleasure of using Kristin’s uncle’s farm for photos. And, both Kristin and Justin’s fathers were the ministers that orchestrated the ceremony. What can I say… It was an awesome day and a beautiful wedding!

We are very pleased to introduce to you the wonderful soon-to-be-wed Martin and Katrinna! We had a lot of fun exploring Toronto’s Historic Distillery District with these two, ducking into a couple of the local coffee shops to warm up on occasion. We definitely found some hidden gems and loved Martin and Katrinna’s ideas that inspired the session. They did so well to brave the chilly air for the afternoon and you can’t even tell they were cold! Just as it was the first time we met with them both, the time flew by quickly without us even knowing it… Jimmy and I felt as though we could have spent hours more visiting. Stay tuned for their upcoming Wedding! And once again, congratulations to you both, Martin and Katrinna! We can’t wait for the big day to arrive!

We’re happy to present to you Evan and Ashley’s gorgeous wedding! Their day was very personal and reflective of the two of them together, from the Church they were married in to the photo locations and reception venue they chose. McMaster University and an Oakville Lakeside park with a pier and lighthouse made for great photo locations. Not only are both sites beautiful, but they are also meaningful to Evan and Ashley; McMaster being the University they attended, and the waterfront for their love of being on the water. Their reception was held at the Oakville Yacht Club, now one of our favourite venues for it’s view, classic interior with dark hardwood throughout, and incredible food. We loved the personal touches Evan & Ashley brought to the decor, such as their personalized wine bottle labels with a portrait from their engagement session, table names with a beach theme, table seating written on a weathered window pane, wildflower centre pieces, and other elements that tied the lakeside cottage theme together perfectly! And for the speeches, I have to say their Maid of Honour and Best Man speeches were two of the funniest we had ever heard! It was a great day, a lot of fun, and the entire bridal party were great sports when doing pictures outside in the chilly wind and rain! Thank you Evan and Ashley for choosing us to capture the story of your day! Congrats!!!
