We had SUCH an awesome time shooting Chris and Alex’s engagement session! We worked alongside Jimmy and Sonya, our photographers at Green Autumn, to capture some special moments between these love birds :) We took the ferry across to Ward’s Island. The sunset was unreal! If there’s any place to view the sunset in Toronto, it would be Ward’s Island! The clouds and sun across the skyline of the city were breathtaking! : the perfect backdrop for taking engagement shoot footage. We had such a great time! We’re super excited for you two and can’t wait for you wedding!! CONGRATS!

We had such a wonderful time filming Nana and Andrew’s wedding! It turned out to be the perfect day. The beautiful blend of cultures made this wedding very fun to be apart of and also offered some unique opportunities. Both the bride and groom got ready at houses very near the ceremony location. They both seemed calm and collected as they got ready for their big day. The beautiful colours of the dresses and flowers (coriandergirl.com/) were exquisite and perfect for a Spring wedding. Once the limo ( exclusivelimo.ca/) arrived, the girls were driven down the street to the church. The ceremony took place at St. Joan of Arc on Bloor St. (joanofarc.ca/) , Toronto. There was quite the anticipation in the room as we were a bit behind schedule waiting for the father of the bride to arrive! It was definitely well worth the wait. It was such a special moment when Nana’s father handed her off to Andrew. This church has beautiful natural light that shines down at the alter where the bride and groom stood. After the ceremony, we went to U of T (ace.utoronto.ca/weddinghome.html) for the photo shoot. U of T has some breathtaking spots! We especially loved the stone walls and twisting vines. Everyone was in high spirits, even though it was very cold! We moved onto the last photo shoot location at the Gladstone Hotel (gladstonehotel.com/) on Queen St. We were able to use the Gladstone Cowboy Elevator, which is operated by hand and built in 1907. We were really excited to film the couple in the elevator, as well as other really unique spots in the hotel. The reception was held at Palais Royale (palaisroyale.ca/toronto-events/toronto-wedding-venue). This is one of the best venues we’ve had the opportunity to film at! We had minimal set up for lights/sound and the view was so beautiful! We set up our Go Pro and did some time lapse of the Toronto sky just outside the venue. Once the meal and speeches were finished, the crowd enjoyed the dance floor and celebrated with the couple as the DJ (soundcloud.com/caff) pumped up the volume! We especially loved that their first dance song was ‘upbeat’! The whole day reflected the couple beautifully: their love for their families, cultures, and most importantly: each other. High five for commitment!

The boys from Illitry came to us asking if we’d be able to shoot a small video of them performing an electronic rendition they wrote of Oh come, Oh come, Emmanuel in their living room. Glen, the drummer and owner of Sheepdog Studios, did all the live-off-the-floor recording and did an amazing job! Huge thanks to Jesse from driftwood(thedriftwood.ca), for helping us with some camera work.
We wish you two all the best, see you at Nancy + Mike’s wedding!

Cheers to a wonderful couple! Leah and I loved shooting your day – the black and white theme was complimented beautifully by the venue, the Eglinton Grand. A touch of urban, a dash of vintage, and a whole whop of class makes this highlight a joy to showcase! Thanks to the both of you for allowing the GreenAutumn team capture your day. We wish you well!

1940’s inspired wedding creative.
For our first wedding in 2012 it was a privilege to have worked with Martin and Katrinna on their wintery day! Their heartfelt words to each other and emotional reveal inspired us as we recreated their wonderful story. We wish them all the best in their marriage and life’s journey together!
Much love from the GreenAutumn team…
